Gallery Walk, various galleries, Bloomington, IN

Our October 2nd Gallery Walk is quickly approaching, and we continue to offer creative ways to safely reach out to our community during this challenging time. Though many of our galleries will be relatively quiet this month, we are delighted to announce a variety of art experiences inside those gallery spaces who are offering socially distant live openings. Additionally, one of our galleries will be partnering with the Kinsey Institute to host a virtual homage to the late Tom Fox, an IU alumnus who died from AIDS in the late 80’s. Please take note of the October events, exhibitions and locations available to our faithful followers.

Solar Savings through Solarize Bloomington – SIREN, Bloomington, IN

Did you know that you can get solar power for less than you’re paying now on your electric bill?  Both Duke and REMC customers are eligible to receive a 26 percent federal tax credit on the purchase price if they install a system in 2020. That comes straight off your tax owed. Plus Duke customers can benefit from net metering until year 2032.

Learn about the performance, cost and incentives for solar energy systems when Solar Indiana Renewable Energy Network (SIREN) volunteers present free solar information sessions online. Learn more about SIREN at sirensolar.org. The Solarize program is open to residential, commercial and nonprofit property owners in Monroe and nearby counties.

You can register for an upcoming information session at www.tinyurl.com/HelpingYouGoSolar
