Hoosier Happy Hour & Vegan Cookie Bake-Off (Zoom) – BloomingVEG, Bloomington, IN
You are invited to our annual cookie swap on December 20th! It’s going to look different this year but you’ll have (almost) as much fun!
You’ll get to meet animal advocates from all over the state this year because we’ve teamed up with activists from Indianapolis and The Humane League.
Many of you cited Zoom fatigue as a reason you wouldn’t attend this year so we are expanding the reach so the attendance will still be rockin’. No hard feelings – it’s been a tough year! But we hope you’ll join this one if you can.
We’ll start with some entertainment while everyone assembles their cookie ingredients.
Then we’ll move to smaller virtual breakout rooms while the cookies are baking. The breakout rooms will be sorted by topic so you can meet people with similar interests.
We’ll come back together at the end for cookie show-and-tell!

STEM Sundays: Musical Instruments (Zoom) – WonderLab, Bloomington, IN
Join us for STEM Sundays and work together on a project for the whole family! This week we will be learning about the science of sound and creating musical instruments. We will share some ideas, but also encourage you to create your own design! Some examples of materials you can use include cardboard boxes, empty tubs, rice, rubber bands, popsicle sticks, balloons, empty cans, bottle caps, aluminum foil, bobby pins, etc. No matter what you have at home, there’s something you can make. This is a great opportunity for the whole family or group to explore the engineering design process as well as develop STEM skills such as defining & problem solving, exploring cause & effect, and the collaborative process. This program is made possible through funding from Cook Medical. and CFC Properties.
