Super Treat Night – COVID Edition. Enjoy a FREE DRIVE THRU Trick-or-Treating event at the parking lot of the Boys & Girls Club, in Bedford. Bring the kids and we’ll provide you with a pre-filled bag of goodies (one per trick or treater – must be present in the vehicle). To comply with safety guidelines, trick or treaters must remain inside their vehicles during the event. This event is presented by WTIU along with WBIW, WQRK & Litefm. The event starts at 6pm until supplies last.

Lions Club Chicken BBQ, Ben Franklin Parking Lot,1206 W. Main St., Mitchell, IN
A total of 128 dinners will be served for $10 each, which will include 1/2 BBQ chicken with baked beans, coleslaw, and drink.
Community Trash Cleanup: Milwaukee Trail, 1304 9th St., Bedford, IN
A community clean-up effort is underway for the Milwaukee Trail & Stack Rock Clean-Up on October 24th at 10:00 a.m.
Volunteers are needed to join and some items are needed for the project.
Volunteers are asked to meet at 10th and M Streets in Bedford.
Items needed include trash pick-up sticks, bottled water, compact trash bags, sharps containers, and rubber gloves.
Donated items can be dropped off at 1898 Blue Springs Caverns Road, Bedford, Indiana 47421 or at 933 State Road 58 East, Bedford, Indiana 47421.
The last effort was a clean-up around the Williams Dam with over 320 lbs of trash picked up.
