Purple Paint Law Protects Property

A new property law allows Indiana landowners to mark their boundaries with purple spray paint. House Enrolled Act 1233 went into effect on Sunday, allowing property owners in Indiana to switch out no trespassing signs for vertical lines of purple spray paint. Hoosier National Forest Adds 114 Acres

The Hoosier National Forest is adding over 100 acres to its protected land. The US Forest Service purchased 114 acres of mostly deciduous woodland on the south side of Lake Monroe, in late June.
