Monroe County Youth Service Bureau to Undergo Expansion

The Monroe County Council has appropriated $2.4 million to expand the Monroe County Youth Service Bureau facilities. The Monroe County Commissioners already approved contracting with Building Associates Inc., pending the council’s funding approval. Monroe County is investing in the health of its employees with on-the-job exercise equipment. On Tuesday, the Monroe County Council got its first look at a $40,000 project to put stand-up desks, treadmills, and recumbent bikes in county office buildings.
