Monroe County Emergency Management Director Alison Moore is working to ensure county residents receive help in the wake of a disaster; The Bloomington-based domestic violence shelter Middle Way House announced this afternoon a new slate of officers, including a new president.

The second annual Bloomington and South Central Indiana Opioid Summit takes September 18 and 19, at the Monroe Convention Center. Monroe County Commissioner Amanda Barge and Monroe County Council Member Shelli Yoder founded the event. They speak with Big Talk’s Michael Glab.
