  5,518 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Indiana on Monday, according to the Indiana State Department of Health. Daily positive cases dipped under five thousand briefly during the Thursday and Friday of Thanksgiving before jumping back over Five Thousand starting Sunday. There were 142 newly reported deaths.
