Bring It On – November 2, 2020: Election Eve – MCCSC Board & Indiana Candidates

On today’s edition of Bring It On!, hosts, Cornelius Wright and William Hosea, speak with the incumbent Monroe County Community School Corporation (MCCSC) board candidate from District 2, Sue Wanzer in the first half of the show. The second half of the program is spent with Dana Black, the Deputy Chair of Engagement for the Indiana Democratic Party, to discuss what is happening with candidate races for the state legislature.

Sue Wanzer currently serves as the MCCSC board’s vice president. She was first elected to the school board in 2001. She also is a mayor-appointed commissioner on the Bloomington Housing Authority Board. Previously she was the deputy city clerk for the City of Bloomington, the associate director of residence life at Indiana University, and the project manager at Strategic Development Group.

Dana Black is a lifelong resident of Indianapolis and has been the Deputy Chair for Engagement of the Indiana Democrat Party since 2017. In addition, Dana Black is the President of the Indiana Stonewall Democrats President, a Lawrence Township Democrat Club and NACCP Member, and a Committeeman for the Lawrence Township Precinct. She is also the host of the radio show Turn Left and Co-Host of the podcast Policy with a Purpose. She is a prominent political voice in Indiana that aims to disseminate the legislative information to Hoosiers so they can better choose who should represent them.
