The City of Bloomington and Monroe County have been awarded a $30,000 grant, in support of law enforcement. The award comes from the 2018 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant, which is administered by the U.S. Department of Justice. The Bloomington Redevelopment Commission has approved a $29.5 million bond to fund a new Fourth Street parking garage. The Bloomington City Council approved a 10-year tax break for an affordable housing development, during their session last week.
