Griffy Deer Cull Delayed Until 2019

A proposed deer cull at Griffy Nature Preserve in Bloomington has been delayed until next year. City of Bloomington officials said the delay is due to a lack of local hunters signing up for the hunt. $5.2 Mil Upgrades Approved for Edgewood HS, Intermediate, Primary

Two major construction projects are now officially underway to expand the Richland Bean Blossom community school facilities. One project will create a connector between Edgewood Primary and Edgewood Intermediate schools. A second project will add locker rooms and concessions at Edgewood High School. S. Indiana Car Crashes into Black Bear

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources confirmed Monday a black bear was involved in a automobile accident in Southern Indiana, over the weekend. A driver reported hitting a bear on Interstate 64 near New Albany, Sunday night. DNR reports the injured animal wandered off into the woods nearby after the incident. The driver was uninjured. Campaign for Higher Cigarette Taxes in Indiana
