State Legislature to Increase Airbnb Taxes

The Indiana State Senate passed a bill taxing short-term rentals, like Airbnb, last month. Senate Bill 497 passed the Senate and was referred to the State House of Representatives, last week. Drivers Report Potholes On County Website

Online pothole and road hazard reporting is now available on the Monroe County website. The service has been available for over a week, and Public Works Director Lisa Ridge said the response has been “enormous.” The new online pothole reporting form is for Monroe County roads only. Ridge said the online reports are emailed directly to the county’s engineering department.
