The talks are centered around the disarmament of North Korea’s nuclear weapons program. MCCSC Superintendent Disputes Teacher Pay Claims

Monroe County Community Schools Superintendent Judi DeMuth is taking issue with discrepancies in MCCSC teacher compensation data distributed recently by Indiana State Representative Peggy Mayfield. In last night’s MCCSC school board meeting, DeMuth provided an excerpt from a handout she said Mayfield distributed at a recent education presentation. Gov. Holcomb Backpedals on Hate Crimes Bill

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb plans to draw on public appeal to pass a hate crimes bill. Holcomb said in a news conference yesterday, he’s encouraging Indiana residents to contact their legislators and encourage them to pass a hate crimes bill. B-Line Trail Closes For Construction

A  section of the B-line trail will close today and tomorrow, while contractors install two prefabricated bridges. Legislators Loosening ‘Loanshark’ Law

State lawmakers are changing the rules for lending practices. Senate Bill 613 passed through the state senate last night, the last day for bills to be brought up in the State Senate or the State House of Representatives.
