Online Sports Betting Legalization

Starting today, online sports betting is legal in Indiana. In-person sports betting began in September, with 13 retail locations in Indiana currently allowing it. Now retailers are looking to take advantage of online betting being legal as well. According to the Associated Press, both the Chicago-based Rush Street Interactive and the Boston-based Draftkings will be launching mobile sports wagering apps. …

Potential Monroe County Burn Ban

Twenty southern Indiana counties declared burn bans earlier this week, and fire officials are on anticipating Monroe County will declare a burn ban if rain doesn’t arrive soon.
