Dems: State Education Funding Increases ‘Too Little, Too Late’

Last night, the state legislature passed a $35 billion two-year budget, in Indianapolis.

The state’s biennial budget includes spending increases in education and for the state’s overwhelmed Department of Child Services. However, Democrats objected to the state budget bill, House Bill 1001. In this Feature Report, WFHB News Director Wes Martin speaks with State Sen. (D-Bloomington) Mark Stoops and State Rep. (D-Bloomington) Matt Pierce, about their votes against HB 1001.
