Two homeless men have died over the past two months in Bloomington; The Monroe County Community School Board wore red shirts to their Monday night meeting, showing solidarity with MCCSC educators and education advocates who demonstrated at the statehouse this week, for increased education funding, including better pay for teachers; Officials with the City of Bloomington are engaging financial advisers for the convention center expansion; Monroe County Surveyor Trohn Enright-Randolph is debuting a new, online survey utility as part of an effort to restructure the county’s GIS offerings.

The Indiana Legislature wrapped up a state budget last night—in today’s Feature Report, we’ll hear from Bloomington Representative Matt Pierce and State Senator Mark Stoops about that budget bill.
