12th Anniversary Trashion Refashion Runway Show
, Switchyard Park Pavilion, 1601 S Rogers St, Bloomington, IN

The Trashion Refashion Show seeks to promote sustainability by presenting a thought provoking show that challenges beliefs and behaviors about the role clothing plays in our lives. Local designers from a broad range of ages and backgrounds will show over 40 designs on the runway.  Trashion is a celebration of creativity, community and sustainable living.

To be included in the show, designs need to consist of at least 90% refashioned or discarded materials. Trashion designs are produced using waste materials not intended to be worn as clothing. Past shows included outfits constructed from yoga balls, cat food can lids, video tape, venetian blinds, and shrink wrap. Refashion designs give new life to unworn or discarded garments including commemorative t-shirts, graduation gowns and neckties.

Come out for a serious night of fun and fabulous fashion including performances by Janiece and Celina Jaffe.
