Freezefest at the Library: Ice Sculpting on the Plaza in front of the Downtown Library (12pm-2pm) or design your own paper snowflakes in the Children’s Program Room (12pm-4pm)

Come watch a live ice sculpting demonstration as we transform a block of ice into a Friends of the Library bear on the plaza in front of the Downtown Library from noon–2 PM! You can also drop in to the Children’s Program Room between noon–4 PM to design your own paper snowflakes as we celebrate the winter season! Learn more about Freezefest. Age 3 & up.

After-Hours Anime Watch Party (For ages 12-19)

Join us for a special after-hours event in the auditorium! We’ll provide snacks, crafts, and lots of anime on a giant screen. Anime will be determined by popular vote and suitable for those age 14 and up. This event is limited to 15 people. For ages 12–19.

Restoring Memories (Age 18 and up)

Have you digitized old photos or home movies only to realize there are visible folds in the photos or discoloration in the video? Join us to learn techniques to fix them, then take advantage of our Level Up digital creativity center computers anytime to restore your memories! Age 18 and up.

Monsters and Mayhem (Ages 12-19)

Ready to test your mettle against monsters and mayhem in a new RPG? These drop-in sessions will give you a chance to experience a different gameplay style than D&D and face new challenges. All skill levels are welcome! Ages 12–19.

Downsizing Your Home (Age 18 and up)

As we transition through the different stages of life, our priorities and needs change. Downsizing after many years in the same house can feel overwhelming. Cheryl Smith, owner of Consider It Done Transition Services, will share practical advice on how to mindfully remove unnecessary items from your home and simplify clutter. Age 18 & up.

Tuesday Night Music Club (Ages 18 and up)

It’s like a book club, but for albums! Join other music fans to discuss two landmark records of 1971. Listen before the meeting then come share your reaction! We’ll also listen to select songs as a group. Albums are available for streaming on Hoopla with your library card. Age 18 and up.
