Video Game Triathlon (Ages 12-19)

Drop in as we embark on a journey to achieve the highest score! We’ll play three video games from different systems––Joust, Super Monkey Ball, and Tetris Effect. Ages 12–19.

Anthology: Music at MCPL

Coffee with Friends with Briah & Taylor O’Neal

Join us for a conversation with author Briah O’Neal and illustrator Taylor O’Neal, two Bloomington teenagers who teamed up to create Serve It to Me, Too! Serve It To Me, Too! is an illustrated story of a young girl named Deja discovering her newfound interest and athletic abilities in tennis. Her journey explores the importance of courage, hard work, and the benefits of inclusion and diversity in junior sports. The O’Neal sisters will sign books following the talk in Program Rooms 2B/2C on the 2nd floor of the Downtown Library.
This Friends of the Library program is part of the 2022 Power of Words initiative bringing author Jacqueline Woodson to Bloomington for a talk at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater on February 5, 2022.
