Rep. Pierce Tours Yellowwood’s Back Country Logging

State Rep. Matt Pierce (D-Bloomington) toured logging areas of Yellowwood State Forest last week. Pierce says he hiked through the Back Country area, where a Department of Natural Resources contractor is removing 1,700 trees, with the Indiana Forest Alliance’s Dave Seastrom. The Bloomington Police Department captured a suspect in connection with an attempted murder investigation. Brandon Richardson is wanted for allegedly tying up his girlfriend, beating, stabbing and strangling her over a period of three days.
