Limestone Post Seeks Non-Profit Status

Bloomington-based Limestone Post, announced today they’ll reform as a non-profit. Co-founder and Publisher Ron Eid said the switch is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of donations, which will allow the production of higher quality content. Bloomington City Council Candidate Jim Blickensdorf Suspends Campaign

Bloomington City Council candidate Jim Blickensdorf will no longer seek office for the District 3 city council seat. Blickensdorf’s resignation comes after The Herald-Times of Bloomington published a piece detailing his ownership of a Bedford strip club in the late nineties. Law Passes To Tackle Synthetic Drug Crisis in Indiana

Two years ago, 25 overdoses were reported in downtown Bloomington caused not by heroin nor prescription pills. The cause of the overdoses was synthetic marijuana called Spice, or K2. New Scooter Company Coming to Bloomington

The Bloomington Board of Park Commissioners approved an interim operating agreement for Spin Scooters, a division of Ford Motor Company, yesterday. Scooter companies Bird and Lime already operate in Bloomington. Congress is considering a recommendation by the Trump administration that would allow for the deployment of ‘strategic’ nuclear weapons.
