New Law Provides Recourse for ‘Revenge Pornography’

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb signed into law a bill providing legal recourse for the victims of ‘revenge pornography.’ Senate Bill 192, authored by Sen. (R-LaPorte) Mike Bohacek, establishes the legal framework for a victim of revenge pornography to sue both the person who captured their image, and individual distributors. State Has Until May 20 to File Appeal to Annexation Suit

The midnight amendment to the state’s 2017 budget bill unconstitutionally singled out Bloomington’s annexation plans, according to Thursday’s preliminary ruling by Monroe County Judge Frank Nardi.
