This is the first week of partnership between WFHB’s Youth Radio, Kid City and The Boys and Girls Clubs of Bloomington called “Youth Radio Summer Camp”. The idea behind the program was to encourage campers to participate in some creative activities that gave them a crash course in all the things they could potentially do if they got involved in broadcast radio. We wanted to give them a voice and allow them to hear all the hard work they put into their projects every Saturday on Youth Radio’s programming block.
To kick off our 5-week Youth Radio Summer Camp, campers choose their favorite songs to play on the radio. Each person recorded an introduction including the song title, artist, and why they chose it. Listen to each of the camps Remote Playlist by clicking the links below.
