This is the WFHB Local News for Tuesday, November 5th, 2024.

Later in the program, WFHB News interviews voters, poll workers and candidates in light of Election Day. More coming up throughout today’s program.

Local voices share how they’re feeling about the 2024 Presidential Election. WFHB sends more than a dozen reporters out to see how people are feeling about this historic day later in the show in a special feature report.

Feature Reports:

A banner reads, “Vote Here Today,” at 401 W 7th Street, Suite 100 (Young).

Up next, WFHB News traveled to polling locations in Monroe County speaking to voters and poll workers about today’s election. Remember that polls are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and if you’re in line by 6 p.m. – you have the right to cast your ballot. We now turn to that segment during the Election Day Special on the WFHB Local News – where Correspondent Elyse Perry speaks to election workers and voters at the Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship located on South Patterson Drive.

Then, WFHB News traveled to Ellettsville to speak with election workers and voters at the Ellettsville Christian Church.

State Senator Shelli Yoder

And now we turn to a discussion between WFHB Correspondent Zero Roze and State Senator Shelli Yoder, who is running unopposed this year, about ways to improve the quality of life for Hoosiers and others around the world by advancing environmental legislation in the Indiana General Assembly. We turn now to that interview.

Who will win the 2024 Presidential Election? The polls are closing soon. WFHB dispatched more than a dozen reporters to canvas downtown Bloomington and the IU campus to see how people are feeling about this historic day.
