Don talks about the news story that a woman was killed by a python in Northern Indiana at a home that was dedicated to snakes (150) as pets, it was owned by the local sheriff, more discussion about the issue of wild pythons moving northward from Florida, caller mentions python hunters in Florida, discussion about quail limits in the current season, canned hunting seems to be the culprit, caller follows up on last weeks mention of a Putnam County man who was initially charged with multiple poaching charges which was dropped, caller has been talking to DNR and local newspaper to find out why, but no info at hand, rain and trees health this year, another person charged after being caught with multiple thefts of ATV’s and a truck, also methamphetamine in the woods, also clocks get set ahead tonight, November 3, after midnight, one hour for daylight savings time.

DEER SEASON: The Deer Reduction Zone Season is now continuous and runs from Sept. 15, 2019 through Jan. 31, 2020, The Firearms Season starts Nov. 16 – Dec 1, Archery Season is from Oct. 1 through Jan. 5, 2020, The Muzzleloader Season starts the first Saturday after the end of Firearms Season and runs for 16 days. The 2019 season is Dec. 7 through Dec. 22. The Youth Deer Season is the weekend prior to Oct 1. This year, the season is Sept 28-29.
TURKEY SEASON: Fall archery for Turkey begins Oct. 1 through Oct. 27, then returns Dec. 7 through Jan. 5, 2020. Fall firearm for Turkey begins Oct. 16 through Oct. 27.
