Extreme Weather Named as Cause of Reduced State Fair Attendance

The final numbers for attendance for the 2016 Indiana State Fair showed a 20% decrease in attendance from last year. Officials blamed a heat index of near 90 degrees, followed by several continuous days of rain for keeping Hoosiers at home.
