The Monroe County Community School Corporation’s Board of Trustees declined to put metal detectors in schools, last night. The decision comes even after MCCSC Superintendent Judi DeMuth recommended the adoption of the metal-detecting wands, during last night’s meeting. The Indiana University Board of Trustees approved tuition and fee increases for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years, this morning. The approval comes during the Trustee’s meeting at IU Northwest, in Gary.
