Feature Report:

Up next, the first installment of Deep Dive: WFHB and Limestone Post Investigative where we look into issues regarding health, housing, and the environment that directly impact residents of Monroe County.

You’re about to hear the first edition of Deep Dive from February of this year. Since then, Deep Dive was announced as a finalist for Journalism Collaboration of the Year with The Institute for Nonprofit News, or INN. We hope you enjoy this archived edition of Deep Dive: WFHB and Limestone Post Investigate.

WFHB News welcomed Ron Eid, publisher of the Limestone Post Magazine, live in the studio in light of WFHB’s Fall Fund Drive. Eid discusses the Deep Dive collaboration, the importance of non-profit local news and how WFHB and Limestone Post overlap in its local news coverage.

Ron Eid started Limestone Post Magazine in 2015 as an online publication featuring long-form stories about the arts, outdoors, social issues, and a variety of other topics relevant to Bloomington and south-central Indiana. An award-winning writer and editor, Ron has written feature stories about the arts, culture, sports, business, and adventure travel for publications across the country (Photo courtesy of the Limestone Post).
