Hector Tobar habla sobre la situación en del 1992 en la ciudad de Los Angeles en donde también vivian muchísimos Latinos. Habla sobre la situación de Rodney King, cuando el juicio de cuatro oficiales en la ciudad de Los Angeles Acusados de Rodney King fueron declarados no acusados por el juicio que causara un alboroto.
Además, novelista Héctor Tobar habla sobre el libro de los 33 mineros y como los 33 mineros decidieron compartir la historia junta. Firman con la firma de abogado de todo chile, abogados deciden que es importante buscar un escritor norteamericano.
