Welcome to the 87th episode of Hearabouts: Asian American Midwest Radio. Hearabouts is produced by Indiana University’s Asian Culture Center in collaboration with WFHB. We ask critical questions about identity, culture, community, and shared assumptions. This episode is produced by Belle Chatpunnarangsee and Joanna Kung.

In honor of celebrating Black History Month, in this episode, we are joined by Allison and Katelyn, AAA members at Indiana University, to recount a recent event they hosted in collaboration with the ACC, a talk with professor Cynthia Wu regarding the topic on anti-blackness in the Asian community. We shared thoughts, experience, and simple ways for students to be involve and stay aware on related topics.
