Hosts William Hosea and Roberta Radovich speak with Mezzo-Soprano and Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music voice professor, Marietta Simpson, about her latest music project, Crooked Stick. During this hour Marietta discusses her upbringing and her career as a classical singer and why she has chosen to sing in this project negro spirituals within different musical genres, like blues and soul, to give them in a more contemporary sound.
