In today’s edition of Bring It On!, hosts, Clarence Boone and Liz Mitchell spend the hour with Leon Bates, a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Pan African Studies, at the University of Louisville, KY. He focuses on Urban History (i.e. Education, Housing, Labor, Medicine, Policing, Violence), and the Intersection of Race. Leon has conducted extensive research on Racialized Violence. Several weeks ago, he joined us to discuss lynching in Indiana. He joins us now to discuss his research on national police-action shooting deaths of Blacks.
