Bloomington residents gathered at Third Street Park in downtown, this afternoon. About 20 community members assembled as part of a nation-wide walkout, aimed at supporting women who have survived sexual assault.

The walkout in Bloomington was organized by the women’s shelter Middle Way House. Executive Director Debra Morrow spoke to the assembled crowd of mostly women, clad in black, about her own experience of sexual assault and what happened after she shared her story, years after the assault.
