The Senate Judiciary Committee will hear testimony from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, and an alleged sexual assault victim, on Monday; Senator Joe Donnelly announced his support today for bipartisan legislation that would impose sanctions on foreign governments accused of interfering in US elections; Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced on Friday, a defense contractor will receive nearly two million dollars in tax credits and grants, to move to Greene County; Indiana University and Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane signed an agreement to cooperatively pursue research into artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, last week; The city of Bloomington is looking to consultants to help decide whether to rebuild or repair the aging, downtown Fourth Street garage.

FEATURE
The city of Indianapolis will consider ordinances that would forbid sleeping on sidewalks, benches, and public spaces, on Monday. Executive Director of the Shalom Community Center in Bloomington, Forrest Gilmore says he and other area activists are opposed to the ordinance.

THE BICENTENNIAL JOURNAL
Scott Emery, a volunteer with the Monroe County History Center Cemetery Committee, tells the story of the Blair Cemetery, in Van Buren Township.  The cemetery consists of one headstone, that of one-year old Carlyle Blair.
