In today’s segment, we brought you news that at least ¼ of a million children would be harmed by the cancellation of the DACA, according to an amicus brief filed with the Supreme Court. On Monday, the Monroe County Board of Zoning Appeals threw its support behind the county’s suite against property owner, Joe Huff, for allegedly violating local zoning code. The public interest nonprofit Improving Kids’ Environment, or IKE, announced its merger today with the Hoosier Environmental Council.

We heard a story from former WFHB news director, Joe Crawford, report on a Black Lives Matter march that occurred in October of 2016.

Former intern, Casey Kuhn, talks with WFHB’s Sarah Vaughan about why she thinks the work of community journalists, like those at WFHB, is so important.
