Indiana has released accountability grades for schools within the state, but more than half of the schools within the Monroe County Community School Corporation don’t yet have grades; Indiana is reporting the first death of a resident, due to influenza this year; An ice storm that hit parts of Indiana created hazardous roads conditions that contributed to one motorist’s death, shut down schools across Monroe County, and caused power outages; The Ellettsville Fire Department is expanding its staff; City of Bloomington is currently offering curbside leaf pickup. But Bloomington Board of Public Works Director Adam Wason says snow is delaying leaf pickup.
