Last week, Indiana voters ratified a change in the state’s constitution. That change requires the state’s General Assembly to only pass balanced budgets; Indiana’s homeless face potentially life-threatening temperature drops which come at a time when area shelters are in the most need of volunteers and donations; Indiana residents support the legalization of marijuana, according to a recent Ball State University survey; A report on Monday by Purdue University’s Climate Change Resource Center says Indiana’s tourism and recreation industry will face tougher seasons, as climate change worsens across the state.
