HEADLINES:
International students who overstay their visa may be barred from entering the United States; Beginning in October of 2020, state-issued Identification cards, like drivers licenses, will no longer allow Indiana residents to board flights; Indiana is at risk of losing its Amazon Headquarters bid, due to a lack of LGBTQ protections; A recent survey of the City of Bloomington’s water system indicates the city is losing 235 million gallons of water per year; A portion of Kirkwood Avenue will be closed for three days next month to replace a collapsed culvert on Kirkwood, between Madison and Maple Streets.

FEATURE:
Indiana wildlife groups are pushing for recognition of Indiana’s Lake Sturgeons as a federally endangered species. The fish- which can grow up to eight feet in length and live to over a hundred years old- has seen a 99% population reduction in the last century. In today’s feature report, WFHB correspondent Jonah Chester discusses the importance of the sturgeon with Hoosier Environmental Council Senior Policy Director Tim Maloney.
