The Bloomington City Council is reviewing the procedures for the use of the police department’s armored vehicle during their meeting, tonight; Firefighters and emergency service providers will soon be applying for a slice of the local public safety tax pie; The Indiana Department of Revenue redistributed nearly a half million dollars in taxes to Monroe County, last week. The unemployment rate in Indiana is currently lower than the national average, according to the May Indiana Unemployment Report from the Indiana Department of Workforce Development; Dimension Mill Executive Director Pat East says the renovation of the former furniture factory into a co-work and tech incubator space is on track to be open by October 31.
