Administrators in Indianapolis said the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, or WIC program, have not announced any change in their assistance distribution, and do not expect a funding shortage until into February; A bipartisan bill in Congress would make the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore a National Park; Hundreds of women marched in downtown Indianapolis over the weekend, braving below freezing temperatures and blizzard conditions; The Bloomington Common Council formally approved designating Bloomington’s Maple Heights neighborhood a Historic Conservation District.
