House Bill 1253 to fund firearms training for teachers and school staff; Common Council to amend ordinance regulating motorized scooter use; A Controversial Bill passed on the Senate floor earlier this week that will create special firearm training for teachers in armed schools; Bulldozers are demolishing Rhinos Youth Center, in downtown Bloomington.

FEATURE
A proposed state budget in the legislature is nearly half a billion dollars off of projected revenues. We’ll hear from State Senator Mark Stoops in today’s Feature Report, who says the revenue shortfall could scuttle efforts to raise teacher salaries.
