The Bloomington City Council is poised to pass legislation limiting the use of recently purchased Lenco Bearcat armored truck.
In their meeting last night, council members agreed on the need to codify language that would ensure how the vehicle would be used, regardless of changes in city administration. The Council gave the proposed legislation a unanimous do-pass recommendation. The council is expected to take a formal vote in its June 27 meeting.
