POSH, a boutique hotel, opened up on Kirkwood Avenue in Bloomington at the end of September this year. Residents expressed conflicting opinions on the hotel’s placement in Bloomington, and whether it fits the aesthetic of the town. Posh Hotel was created by Elliott Lewis, owner of Bailey 8 LLC in Bloomington. The site of the hotel was once a historic bank. Now, it is a multi-million dollar hotel. Lewis originally wanted Posh to be an apartment complex, but thought a hotel would be a better addition. WFHB Correspondents Olivia Evans and Katrine Bruner have that story.
