Young people are growing up in a world where the definitions of who we are, where we live, and how we get things done seem to adjust and expand every day. It’s an exciting time, but can also be a confusing one. This is an opportunity to collectively ask ourselves where we are today and where we want to be tomorrow. The community will hear from local youth who strive to think big, make waves, and change the world in their own way. TEDx Youth events bring together educators, youth organizations, and young people for live presentations, activities, and storytelling that encourage learning about and experiencing the world in new and different ways. This is the perfect medium for engaging and inspiring teens, and for highlighting young voices from diverse communities. Ages 12–19
