Join us in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Middle Way House serves and empowers survivors who have a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Four distinguished experts will help us understand how we all can play a role as activists, advocates, and community members to combat sexual violence with informed sensitivity.
Featured Speakers:
· Deb Getz, Clinical Assistant Professor, Indiana University Department of Applied Health Science and human trafficking prevention educator and advocate
· Debra Morrow, Executive Director of Middle Way House and winner of Bloomington’s 2014 Women’s History Month Emerging Leader Award
· Ron Smith, Mental Health Counselor, Indianapolis Counseling Center and Past President of the Indiana Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers
· Beverly Stoeltje, Professor Emerita, Indiana University Departments of Anthropology, Folklore/Ethnomusicology, African Studies, Cultural Studies, and Gender Studies
All proceeds benefit Middle Way House and go directly toward our efforts to support and empower survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking.
