Join the Salaam Middle Eastern Music Ensemble for an evening of music and dance in celebration of Nowruz, the Persian New Year & coming of spring.
Salaam, a Bloomington-based band, has been performing the music of the Middle East, Turkey, the Mediterranean and Near Eastern cultures for over 30 years throughout the United States & internationally. Performers include Dena El Saffar (Viola, Joza, Oud), Tim Moore (Percussion), Jamil Moore (Bass, Guitar, Percussion) & special guests Ezgi Benli (Baglama Saz) and Dilara Inam(Vocals).
