2021 B’Town Jazz Fest
The upcoming 2021 B’Town Jazz Fest will feature 11 hours of many special performances such as the premiere of new compositions by Greg Ward and Wayne Wallace, commissioned by B’Town Jazz in support of racial justice and diversity. Greg’s group of 9 will include his piece in their set, and Wayne’s work will be performed by Clark Hunt’s 19-piece Drive-By Big Band! Also, very special guests Randy Brecker and Ada Rovatti will be flying in from NY City! B’Town Jazz is excited to be able to bring Randy back to Bloomington, where he went to college many years ago, a trip made possible by a generous grant from the Smithville Charitable Foundation. Masks will still be required for the unvaccinated except when sitting in an isolated area, and strongly encouraged for the vaccinated.
