Tonight’s program: “Climate Change Policy in a Polarized America” with David Konisky. A professor at Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs, he will discuss how the issue of climate change is now among the most divisive issues in American politics. In the last several years, the Trump Administration has initiated a major retrenchment of federal policy, leaving state and local governments to pick up the pieces. This talk will review recent developments in federal and state policy, and discuss the prospects of the Green New Deal and other recent policy proposals.
