Cranes Over Indiana (Age 13 and up)

Learn how to identify sandhill cranes and whooping cranes by sight and sound. Find out where both cranes live in Indiana throughout the year, and the threats they face. Opportunities for community members to get involved in protecting both species through safe birding practices, contributing to citizen science through crane sightings, and volunteer/ambassador/advocacy opportunities offered through the International Crane Foundation in Indiana will be presented.
