Civil Air Patrol Weekly Meeting

Weekly meeting of the Monroe County Composite Squadron of Civil Air Patrol. CAP is the official United States Air Force Auxiliary. CAP’s 3-prong mission encompasses Emergency Services, Aerospace Education, and a Cadet Program for youth age 12-18, which uses model rockets, pilots, and real aircraft to help students learn Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math skills through aviation. CAP also offers opportunities to participate in search and rescue, as well as providing a leadership training program based on principles of Integrity, Respect, Excellence, and Volunteer Service. Students interested in exploring careers in aviation, emergency response, military, aerospace, cyber security, engineering, public affairs, or who simply want to develop leadership and discipline should drop by to learn more about the program.
