Saturday‘s Child is WFHB’s monthly live broadcast from the Monroe County History Center – this month featured Jason Fickel and Friends.

Saturday, August 12, at the Monroe County History Center  WFHB’s Saturday’s Child wellcomed the Keith Skooglund Trio.  From gray hair to toddlers the music was enjoyed by all.

The Uketones, one of Bloomington’s most unique musical experiences, live from the Monroe County History Center and live on your Community Radio station, WFHB, Saturday July 8. Power out at the station, but plenty of energy on stage.

On June 10th Dylvin and the Chauffers,  joined Saturday’s Child at the Monroe County History Center. Old-time music played by young people. Dylvin and the Chauffers, the Deckard family band.

On Saturday, May 13, Saturday’s Child, welcomed guitar virtuoso Kade Puckett to the stage at the Monroe County History Center. A good time was had by all.

WFHB Saturday’s Child welcomed the Brown County group Celtica to the stage for some music from the Irish side of the world, Saturday, April 8, at the Monroe County History Center.

Hoosier Darling joined WFHB live from the Monroe County History Center March 11 for Saturday’s child. This group of “darlings” lend impressive skills on a variety of instruments to performances with a unique approach to highly polished vocal harmonies.

Bloomington world music acapella group, Kaia joined us at Saturday’s Child February 11. Kaia is a vocal and percussion ensemble located in Bloomington. The all-female group performs world music in over 25 languages and a wide variety of vocal styles.    

Brown County Singer/Songwriter Cari Ray joined the Saturday’s Child crew for its first show of the new year at the Monroe County History Center on January 14th. Cari Ray’s songs sound authentic because they are. Born into a musical family and raised on a rural Indiana farm, her musical roots were planted in Bluegrass,Blues and Southern Gospel.
